As a young company that believes design is about improving quality of life as well as it is about respect for others, we have made it our mission to advocate for sustainable living and promote sustainable practices. Our main goal is to be the point of reference for sustainable interior design and architecture, through setting new trends, promoting new talent and showcasing the latest in technology for sustainable living. Our journey starts online with our Online Curator and magazine formatted website, but our objectives go far beyond the virtual world.

In a whirlwind of events I envisioned a happy place. People gathering, exchanging ideas, learning, and making a contribution to the world. A contribution in shape of commitment: to reduce our impact on the world while creating a pool of opportunities for all sorts of people. We ought to commit to beauty in the true sense of the word. Often, beautiful solutions come in paradoxical ways. Reduce to increase. More for less. The list is long. Roost In Green is an event that summarizes my holistic approach to life and marks a happy place in time. It is my second baby of a very different nature. I hope to watch it grow and mature by an unwavering set of values while inspiring people to think outside the box. – Clarice Lopez

Founder
Architect by trade and artist at heart, I’m a champion of human ingenuity. Creating things for the betterment of mankind makes my world go round. Brainstorming ideas and having philosophical conversations for pleasure are some of the high points of my day. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but have been calling America home since 2008. I’m a proud military spouse, mother to Theodora and Sam, our resident pet. When I’m not working, I’m writing. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, binge watch movies and hang out with friends.

I’m Laura, Lou for friends and family. I’m an Interior designer and Illustrator. Born and raised in Italy in a small town near Venice, my University education started with a History degree in the UK, where I fell in love with my college building, designed by Danish Architect Arne Jacobsen. Once I finished my studies in the UK I decided to train to be an Architect in Italy. I took a Degree in Architectural Sciences, at Venice University, where I fell in love with many more Architects as well as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Six years later I’m married to an Engineer and mother to two lovely little children. I’m based in Italy, near Venice, and specializing in Interior Design. As well as designing apartments, I love painting, illustrating and making earrings. A year ago I started my ‘Little Lou design’ blog, where I write about design and illustration, my visits to design fairs and my work. I’m always curious to spot the latest news in Architecture and Design, and am very interested in projects based on sustainability and recycling. I spend my spare time building duplo towers with my two little ones, baking, dancing around the living room and hanging out with friends.
